For more than 30 years, Richard Foley has serviced the Central New York area offering boutique tile installation to residential clients.

His career began early on in his twenties, working for the largest tile distributor in the northeast where he started in the shipping and receiving part of the business.

 

Over time, his passion for tile grew and he began work in the field under one of the most highly respected tile contractors in the area.

 

Building experience along the way working with premium marble and gaining technical knowledge and classic installation techniques,

 

Richard eventually moved on with his career where he spent the next few years working for two of the largest HVAC and transmission companies in the world.

In his free time, Richard began offering freelance tile installation services which lead to him to abandon his full-time job duties in the manufacturing industry.

 

Shortly after, he started his own business and has been serving clients ever since, specializing in showers wet areas. 

​

Today, Richard is one of the most well renowned Tile Contractors in the Central New York area by homeowners and other leading industry professionals for his knowledge, craftmanship, and attention to detail.

Tara is a designer by trade, having roots in the construction industry for nearly 5 years.

 

Tara formally launched her own  design business Interiors by TLC in 2022, introducing her technical and visual skillset to the Central New York market and beyond specializing in kitchen and bath design.

An alumna of Onondaga Community College and Cazenovia where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design during the spring of 2021, Tara built a foundation working for prestigious design-build firms in Syracuse, Marcellus, and Cazenovia.

​

Eager to expand her professional abilities, Tara obtained her real estate license in January 2023 with a goal to combine real estate with interior design and "bring great design home." 

​

With her multidisciplinary background, Tara looks at spaces holistically and creates cohesive designs that balance dramatic, bold moves with modern clean lines.

 

As a former employee of one of the largest tile distributors in the northeast, Tara has been working with Richard for nearly 4 years. After years in the corporate side of the construction industry, Tara ceased her 9-5 and has been supporting Richard Foley Tile Co since January 2023. She supports day to day operations in the field and also coordinates all social media platforms through her expertise.
